Okay since there has been A Lot the past couple of days about food disgust, a quick note on mold and food safety, from someone who’s done food safety certification: there are things this is safe to do with. Bread is NOT safe to do this with.

Basically, because bread is not a solid, it’s a lattice of starches and proteins with a lot of air in it. This means mold spores can travel throughout it and spread to the interior easily. Once bread is moldy, any of it, toss it.
