Two former Disney executives and Blackstone spent more than $4 billion buying entertainment companies. The results so far haven’t been great.

A look at Candle Media:

Hollywood has always had a hard time figuring out what does (and doesn't) work on Netflix. So we spent some time digging into the company's self-reported top 10 lists. Sharing a few of my favorite findings... The average Netflix hit is in the top 10 for 2 weeks or less. Since week 1 is actually just a weekend, that means it stays in the top 10 for about 10 days.
