A subcommittee meeting for HSB 508 has been scheduled for tomorrow (1/26) at 1:30pm. This is a harmful bill that would establish an asset limit for SNAP. Asset limits have been shown to discourage people from applying for SNAP, increase administrative costs, and discourage people from saving for emergencies.

This weekend I had a fever and sore throat, so thought it best to take a COVID test. A friend had a Test Iowa kit they let me use. I took the test and dropped it off at a UPS drop box. I still have not even gotten confirmation that the lab has received it. I dropped it off at the UPS dropbox on Sunday. Today is Thursday, and I'm losing patience, so I'm trying to find another test. There are no Walgreens in Greater Des Moines that have testing availability today. I've been to two locations trying to find a rapid test with no luck.

Okay I feel the need to tweet this thread out to document what happened at my caucus site in case of "inconsistencies" and why the Iowa Caucus is so terrible. #IACaucus First, my caucus location was at Lincoln High School "Roundhouse B" - I showed up at 5:30pm with my partner and entered the HS at the south side of the building. I saw a poster with "What's your caucus location?" and the url to find out.
