MINNEAPOLIS: 509 W 54th St, Annunciation Church – Police are responding to an active shooter call. Police are reporting 20 victims. A man dressed in all black and armed with a rifle was reported at the scene. EMS has requested a Mass Casualty Response and fire crews are bringing in additional resources. Crews report four critical victims so far and are still collecting casualties at Annunciation Church. EMS units from North Memorial and Allina are assisting. Authorities say a bomb may have been placed inside the building. Two people have been confirmed deceased at this time.

MINNEAPOLIS: Emergency crews are responding to the Lowry Tunnel after a westbound semi-truck carrying ammunition crashed near the entrance and “split in half.” The extent of injury is not yet available. Both westbound and eastbound traffic are impacted as of now, with Troopers reporting the entire tunnel will need to be shut down while the crash is cleared. Interstate 94 is being closed from I-394 to I-35W for crash clean-up in the tunnel. MnDOT says it may be closed for up to four hours. A HAZMAT team is also responding to assist with the spilled ammunition.

SHAKOPEE: 1195 Ruby Ln. (Scenic Heights Park) - Crews are on scene after a small plane that has crashed in the park. Two occupants of the plane have been critically injured and are being treated by paramedics. The aircraft is believed to be a Piper PA-44-180 Seminole fixed-wing, N2083D, built in 1978 and registered to Thunderbird Aircraft Co. Flight tracking service FlightRadar24 captured the final portion of the flight path before the plane crashed at Scenic Heights Park in Shakopee.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has confirmed that one of the wounded officers has died. Officer Jamal Mitchell, along with a second officer responded to a report of a double shooting at an apartment building on the 2200 block of Blaisdell Ave. Minneapolis Assistant Police Chief Katie Blackwell says officers were immediately met with gunfire from the suspect. The officers were able to return gunfire, fatally wounding the suspect.
Police say they located two individuals inside the apartment, one with fatal injuries, while another was gravely wounded. A bystander was injured during the exchange of gunfire and is in critical condition. A firefighter was also injured by gunfire but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The second officer is expected to recover.
Officer Mitchell started with the Minneapolis Police Department a year and a half ago, and received a commendation for rescuing an elderly couple from a house fire on just his third day on the job.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is currently investigating the scene. Statement from the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association:

SCOTT COUNTY: A perimeter search is underway after a pursuit of a suspect and crash in Credit River Township, near 175th St. E. & Murphy Lake Blvd., east of Prior Lake. - The suspect was reported to be wanted for a domestic incident this morning and terroristic threats.

WEST ST. PAUL: A driver being pursued by officers just crashed near Robert St. & Annapolis and fled on foot eastbound. The original reason for pursuit was texting-while-driving. The suspect fled eastbound into some woods but was apprehended moments later👇 Medics were requested for the suspect, who was said to have a cut to the forehead. The driver also was reportedly wanted on several outstanding charges including failure to appear, DUI and fleeing in a motor vehicle, among others.

BLOOMINGTON: SHOOTING - Mall of America - Officers are on scene after reports of gunshots heard inside the first level of Nordstrom. Police have found one victim shot and reported that CPR was in progress. Limited suspect information; more officers are responding to the area. Officers are checking for a possible 2nd gunshot victim. - The mall is reportedly being locked down. - Two suspects described as younger black males wearing all black clothing and black beanies, reportedly fled out of the northwest exit on the first level and were both armed.

PRIOR LAKE: Authorities have been in a standoff situation since before 2 p.m. in the area of Blind Lake Trail SE. & Windsor Ln. after a male suspect fled into a residence and is believed to be armed. The male allegedly ran inside the attached garage, then into the home and told a female homeowner that "he was mentally ill." All occupants of the home were able to safely exit and there have been no reports of injuries.

NEW: Bloomington police say a suspect has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting yesterday inside a restaurant at 8907 Penn Ave S. - Aaron Le, 47, of Texas, was believed to be driving a white Mercedes Sprinter van with no plates when he fled from the shooting scene. Le was located and arrested around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Oklahoma while driving a white Mercedes Sprinter van, police say. NEW: A 48-year-old man was killed and a 25-year-old server was injured in a shooting early this afternoon at a Vietnamese restaurant in Bloomington, police have confirmed. Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges says the suspect is still at large and believed to be armed after leaving one handgun on a table inside Co Tu Oriental Cuisine at 8907 Penn Ave. S.

“This dude’s a cold-blooded killer," Hodges said.

BLOOMINGTON: SHOOTING, 2 victims found inside a business on the 8900 block of Penn Ave. S. after up to 10 gunshots heard. - Police are on scene and report one victim found with multiple gunshot wounds and another victim is shot in the leg. A firearm was found on a table inside. Officers checked surveillance cameras and report the suspect is a white male, 50-60 years old, wearing a dark maroon hoodie, purple surgical gloves, dark pants and white medical mask. Officers requested an AED for one of the victims.

SAINT PAUL: Stabbing - 8xx University Ave. - 8-year-old child reportedly stabbed by his father, who has a felony warrant for domestic abuse. - Officers and medics are now with the victim and the suspect is still believed to be inside the residence. RAMSEY COUNTY: Roseville, Falcon Heights, St. Paul, State Patrol and other agencies are searching for homicide suspect, described as a 17yo male, long wavy light brown hair, thin, muscular build, unknown color shirt, no shoes, pajama pants/shorts. Call 911 with info. This alert appears to have been mistakenly sent to a larger area than it should have been.

APPLE VALLEY: Assault/stabbing report - Majestic Cove apartments, 7458 157th St. W. - Officers now on scene after a report of a domestic assault/stabbing, with the victim reportedly cut in the jugular vein with a key. The suspect female may have fled the scene in a vehicle. Initially described as a mother vs. daughter domestic. Officers stopped a vehicle that fled the scene but said the suspect was not inside. They're continuing to check the area and also an address where they believe she may have fled.

RICHFIELD: Officers have a perimeter set after a report of a shooting on the 7400 block of 18th Ave. S. - The 25-30 year old Hispanic male suspect was reportedly wearing a dark green sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, black shoes and may have fled into a nearby apartment building. A State Patrol helicopter was arriving overhead of the area around 9:25 p.m. to assist in the suspect search. - Unknown extent of injury to the victim.

OAKDALE: SHOOTING - Marcus Oakdale Cinema, 5677 Hadley Ave. N. - Officers are on scene after a report of a shooting inside the theater. Officers have found one victim with a shotgun wound to the chest. There are other victims reported but not yet confirmed. The suspect was described as black male with a medium build, medium length ponytail and wearing a hat. He's believed to have fled on foot to the northeast.

BURNSVILLE: Assault, boat-jacking report - Crystal Lake - A 911 caller reports a kayaker assaulted someone on board a red pontoon and reportedly fled in the pontoon toward Picnic Island. Suspect described as a white male, mid-30s, wearing a dark shirt, grey shorts and green hat. Officers requested EMS for the victim, who reportedly had a head injury.

SAINT PAUL: SHOOTING - 15xx Woodbridge St. N. - Officers are now on scene after a 911 caller reported a shooting with a female victim down. Squads report the victim is an adult female with a gunshot wound to the chest. Suspect described as a male wearing all black clothing. The suspect was described as a lighter-skinned black male wearing all black clothing, tattoos on his face and forehead, about 5'8", with "short twisties" in his hair.

EAGAN: Officers were in pursuit of a driver from the Holiday lot at 4595 Nicols Rd. - The driver continued westbound on Cliff Rd., "throwing dope" from the vehicle and eventually bailed on foot near Cliff Rd. & River Hills Dr. in Burnsville. The suspect is believed to have fled into an apartment building near the intersection. The vehicle registers as a newly reported stolen Hyundai out of Burnsville.
