@SimplyRagny I think there's a possibility you and I may work for the same firm, but in different buildings.
There is way too much room for absolutely incompetent team leads and the company is overselling projects at a massive pace. Everything that's happened since the acquisition has--
@SimplyRagny --stank of vulture capitalism. Pump up sales beyond what can possibly be provided, point at the wildly increased sales numbers as a sign of progress to other vulture capitalists and sell it off while all the staff gets fucked.
That bullshit about the benefits going away--
@SimplyRagny --is apparently because the company before was illegally providing benefits to employees who were legally classified as "on-call" and taking the money for it out of our pay while telling the insurance company that we were permanent employees. We're "on-call" so the company--
[A cat laying on grass with a tiny baby quail between its front paws. The cat seems disturbed to have it there and pulls back, but sniffs at it some more. A second shot has them both at the base of a tree.]
[A baby deer laying on a blanket in a big basket, surrounded by two baby skunks, a baby raccoon and four kittens. You could pretty much just watch this on loop and forget about the rest. I wouldn't blame you.]
[I'm starting this with the one I've had on my screen at work since last July because it's a tough time and we all deserve some tender love and this is the best I know how to let you know I love you. A sleepy kitten on its back, having its belly rubbed.]
[A tiny hyena cub wakes its mama who's sleeping in a tight ball up to nurse by biting her face and crawling in under her leg. She wakes reluctantly, stretches, knocks it over, it nuzzles in, she pins it down and sniffs its butt.]
[A pug is sitting on its butt with its little legs sticking out in front of it, wearing a swim shirt and goggles up on its head, in a sink with the water running, happily eating a sausage it's holding in its front paws.]
This whole thread has a bunch of photos of a mama kitty and her four kittens, but the human's descriptions of his emotions upon discovering them and new things about himself are worth every tears-of-joy-soaked second:
[A woman doing a yoga pose that involves having her head on the ground and her arms stretched straight out along the floor above her head is sat on by a great Dane who is unimpressed. She laughs and gets it off, then hugs it.]
I'm going to try changing how I do these to make them easier on people who'd rather not get every single one as a notification. I'll make a whole thread, then notify everyone on the last post so you can scroll up and see them all at once, or however many you want.
[A small dog comes running around the corner into a house hall and slips on his hip! The camera goes into slow motion as it runs blood sideways to recover and somehow manages to avoid falling over altogether. Incredible dexterity!]
[A pet racoon is on a blanket on someone's couch. Someone is sitting next to it, scritching its back, but stops and lays their hand next to it. Racoon reaches out, grabs the hand and pulls it towards its back so they continue.]
