[JNANA MANTAPA KSHETRA]
Vidwan Marutacharya beautifully explains about that Sadvidya Parampara which carefully nurtured the young Yatiraja who would later go on to become one of the greatest intellectual giants of Bharata Bhumi : Sri Vyasatirtha! (1) Nikhila Tarkika Chudamani, Shaddarshana Kovida Sri Rajendratirtha set foot into the holy of Bengal to spread the message of the Shastras! His successor Sri Jayadhvajatirtha expanded the Digvijaya to the Kalinga Deshas (the karya kshetra of Sri Naraharitirtha) (2)

[YUGĀDI SANDEŚA: IMPORTANCE OF VIHITA KARMĀNUSHTHĀNA]

(1) Image "आचारप्रभवो धर्मः धर्मस्य प्रभुरच्युतः", as it goes by this saying, Dharma paripālana is only possible with the right knowledge & practice of Sadācāras! Śrī Vishnutīrtha occupies an exalted position among the desciples of Ācārya Madhva:

° He is considered as an epitome of Vaidika Śāstra-Jñāna & uncompromising Tapasya.

° He is fondly cherished as the personification of Vairāgya. (1) ° He is hailed as the foremost among śishyas.

° He is prescribed with crucial tasks such as Sampradāya Punarutthāna (Re-establishment of Tattvavāda by recovering the Copper manuscripts of Sarvamūla from Kadtilla).

° He is celebrated as a reflection of Ācārya himself! (2)

Interestingly enough, Mahabharata says that Yudhishthira too seemed to have reached a similar conclusion after having pondered about the same question. However, this was cleared by Indra in the Swargarohana Parva where the nija svarupa of Bhima was showcased to Yudhishthira (1) "अथापरस्मिन्नुद्देशे 'मरुद्गणवृतं विभुम्' |

[DESCRIPTION OF PANCHAMUKHA RUDRA : A TRANSLATION]

Trailokyaguru Srimadanandatirtha Bhagavatpadacharya captures the chintanakrama for Manonhimani Rudra Deva in his seminal work, Tantra Sara Sangraha as follows: (1/n) ध्येयः पञ्चमुखो रुद्रः स्फटिकामलकान्तिमान्

Not unpopular, its quite popular. Anyway, I'd addressed this typical "Smarta Man's Burden" delusion long ago in a few threads. Sectarianism is innate to the shastras,it is not evil! Every darshanika unequivocally championed for his darshana-paddhati & that ain't wrong at all! A particular upasana paddhati is integrated to the prameyas of the darshana & no darshanika would encourage any deviation from them for his followers.Sanatana is much beyond a single paddhati. There are Vidhi Nishedhas for any paddhati system but there's also subscription choice.

Ri swamy, kindly see the context. That person was literally celebrating Muzrai control over temples just to spew hate against madhwas by telling TPM is avaidika & what not. We are campaigning for no control over temples by showing you how it can be detrimental to all practices🤦 Have we abused any Acharya anywhere or called any Acharana paddhati as avaidika in the tweet? We know certain fringe elements are beyond repair and not everyone are like them. Hence, we addressed the issue from a larger perspective.

No city deserves to be judged or critiqued after a mere 24 hour exposure. Effects of change are harsher at first no doubt, but gradually, things get better and easier. You can also consider being a little more respectful. Mistakes when repeated deserve to be treated as offence⚠️ Every city has its own pros and cons, Bengalurians carry the burden of the city being a silicon capital. Opportunities come at a cost, we native Bengalurians pay the price for our garden city being turned into a concrete maze that feeds people from all over Bharata.

SRI VYASATIRTHA WITH HIS AMULYA RATNAS: THE DASASHRETHAS
These pioneers of Karnataka Sangeeta, Dasa Sahitya and Haridasakoota sparked a never before seen wave of bhakti across the landscape of Bharata. Karnataka is indeed the land of Dharmic reneissance 🚩(1/4) Once Sri Vyasatirtha held the golden idol of Vasudeva Krishna in his clenched fist (covering it from the viewers). Sricharana then asked everyone to guess what was in the clenched fist. (2/4)

This so called "Acharya" does not even know what "Bhoota" actually means but manages to deliver a lecture on "primitive superstition". He's dumping random assumptions by putting his ignorance on display & underestimating the intellect of the audience :
He notoriously Portrays "Bhoota" as "Bhoot/Pret" & says "Ghosts & Spirits, superstious nonsense are trending". We know how much of an "Acharya" he is when he doesn't even get the name of the movie right, "कण्टारा" he says!

[TOOL KIT] :
- Push Dravidian narrative in Karnataka under the disguise of language.
- Delegitimise others as not from this mannu/land.
- Make fun of Karavali Culture,rituals, Daivas(their sounds),artists etc
- Brand all others as sanghi/Komuvadi.
- Play victim if responded + - Spread anti Hindu hate openly.
- Spread and push the anti Brahmin narrative.
- Employ divide and rule to break Sanatanis.
- Miuse names & works Sri Basavanna to spark infighting, chaos and conflict in society.
- Expand linguistic conflict to regional & religious conflict ++

[KANTARA: SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT (Opinion)]

1. Casting of Achyut Kumar: Phenomenal actor no doubt but we've seen similar character arcs of his in different movies so his role reversal wasn't a surprise. Had it not been the case, another significant twist could've been experienced 2. Screenspace for Guruva:
This was one character with whom the audience connected even though he appeared for a few minutes on screen. The radiance, grace and mannerisms of Swaraj Shetty were nothing short of divine.

[IMPORTANCE OF SYMBOLISM] :
The Surya Chandra prominent in icons across Tulunad are so inseperable from their diverse practices/paddhatis performed by an equally diverse set of people. This chinha is even used in places like Daivasthanas-Devasthanas-Matha-Mandiras etc alike. It puts forth a message that the land, its practices, its people and their beliefs are as real as the sun/moon & as archaic as the latter. It also represents multiple vocations and their inseperability from each other thereby putting forth a message of Dharmika unity in diversity

DEEPAVALI SPECIAL THREAD : DAIVARADHANE / BHOOTARADHANE

The renowned Taulava practice of Daivaradhane/Bhootaradhane have certain references from the Veda-Puranas and Tantragamas as well.
Let us primarily explore the meanings of the terms “Bhoota/Daiva” (1) Colloquially, Bhootas mean divine entities that have a real spatio-temporal existence, ownership over constituent elements and help regulate our actions. (2)

Amidst the "Kāntāra" buzz, I suddenly remembered this gem by Bhavi Samīra Rājaru:
कान्तारगेहखलकान्तारटद्वदन कान्तालकान्तकशरम्। कान्तारयाम्बुजनिकान्तान्ववायविधुकान्ताश्मभादिपहरे। कान्तालिलोलदलकान्ताभिशोभितिलकान्ताभवन्तमनुसा।
कान्तानुयानजित कान्तारदुर्गकटकान्ता रमात्ववतु माम्॥(1) This verse starts with the usage of Kāntāra & describes the Vanavāsa Vachana swīkara and Vana praveśa of Śrī Rāma. It is the middle verse of the entire daśāvatāra stuti & an extremely unique one. Rājaru ends with "Ramātvavatu Mām"/May that Ramā protect me! (2)

If you've hijacked "Narādhipam" of 10.27 for this then it's just sad.
"Pa" coming from "pā" indicates "pālayati/safeguards/nourishes".
"Narādhipa" is one who is superior/Adhi among Naras BECAUSE he safeguards/nourishes a normal Nara's existence, interests, possessions & identity! The freeloader empire operated in complete contradiction to the definition of the word mentioned in the Gita. Neither did they protect lives nor the people's interests, possessions and identity! Narādhipa here, must be taken wrt those who fall under the gamut of the definition.

Dear Team @brhat_in,
I have been following your updates on the anveshi tour initiative & I have nothing but admiration and respect towards the same. Thank you for visiting Sri Udupi Kshetra as part of the circuit.
However, I would like to humbly clarify a few things 🙏 (1/n) Usage of words "beleived to have" is no doubt apt because the story that follows after this phrase is only a belief of a few who have spread this across in the name of sthalapurana. Movies have adopted this story to enrich their scripts. However, reality might come as shock! (2/n)

@RamaInExile 🤣🤣I get the Sarcasm but if you want the classical reference for bija inferred as tattvas: Kosha puts one of its meaning as causal principle,Upanishadic lingo uses it as elementary principle or source of principles(tattvas).Bhoja infact refers to bija highlighting the 4 tattvas. @RamaInExile It wasn't a Buddhist text I was working with so no comments on the buddhist PoV of Bija(Dukha, Samudaya, Nirodha, Marga). Which is why I prefaced my explanation with the word "Here" (in this case).Forget Buddhism, "Bija" used in the context of Bijaganita has a different meaning!

[A UNIQUE MARATHI RASHTRA GEETA]

This song "हे राष्ट्र देवतांचे" is a masterpiece composition by the renowmed lyricist G.D Madgulkar Ji.

Since I am neither a native Marathi speaker nor fluent in Marathi I will only share my experience while listening to this gem (1) As usual it appeared on my YouTube timeline and since then has always been on my playlist. What makes this song unique are those 3 wonderful stanzas, the personalities and words chosen to describe the Rashtra. Let us see the intro lines (2)
