When I say that the Nigerian Police is forever on the side of whoever is richer or more influential, it's for a good reason.

I was recently involved in this matter where the Police simply wanted to intimidate a man out of his property at the behest of a LAGOS BOY.

Thread. Image Chief Obioha, 76yrs, is the owner of the property at 24A ikoyi Crescent, Lagos.

If you know Ikoyi very well, you would know that it's a choice area.

He bought the property in 1993 and had to enter into an Agreement with his former bank staff and a self acclaimed Lagos boy

3years ago, the @followlasg demolished the property of a Client at Agege Motor Road, Lagos because according to them, he illegally converted the use of the property from private to commercial.

We sued the govt, gladly.

Thread Our argument was simply that the govt didn't comply with due process of law in demolishing the property.

The Urban and Regional Planning law of the state stipulates why a house would be be demolished and the steps to be taken before doing so.

7 days Notice will be issued...

This lady had three children for this rich and influential celebrity who was in the news some years ago for beating her.

She claimed they were married but the man denied that. When she was asked to provide evidence of the marriage, she produced an Affidavit.

Thread. A video emerged online some years ago where this man was beating a lady who bloggers addressed as his wife.

The lady reported the man to Zone 2 Police, Onikan alleging that the man was his husband and that she has had enough of his domestic violence.

The man said the lady...

If you're ever invited to a Police establishment, there is every chance that you will be detained no matter how weak or strong the case against you is.

Once you have being asked to write your Statement under caution or not, these are the things you must expect.

Thread. Most of our Police officers would ordinarily want to dictate or railroad you into writing what they want.

Refuse.

Write what you know to be the truth in response to the Petition or allegation against you.

If u are arraigned or charged b4 a Magistrate Court 2day in Lagos no matter how frivolous d charge(s) might be, u will likely spend time in Prison.

Ur family/friends/lawyers would go thru hell & deal with corruption in it's purest form while ur bail is being perfected.

Thread Once the charges are read to you and your plea is taken, the court would ordinarily grant you bail (not applicable for capital offences).

"Bail is hereby granted to the Defendant in the sum of 200k with 2 sureties in like sum. The sureties must be residents of Lagos State...

Out of all the women in this world, why would a married man choose to have an adulterous relationship with his own step daughter living under the same roof with himself and his wife?

Thread!!! Around June last year, this lady walked into our office looking dejected.

She said she needed a divorce.

When she told her story, it looked like a movie taken straight out from Nollywood.

I promised to do a thread of some prominent cases I've handled against the Nigerian Police and why I now believe there is no hope for this country with the kind of Police Force we have.

5 of such cases easily come to my mind & I shall drop them for the next 5 days.

Thread In August , 2016 one Miss Mabel Mang (May her soul rest in peace) was murdered in her Lekki home. She was single, rich and had no child.

The gateman who was the main suspect fled and made away with her phones, laptops and jewelleries.
