This lie is enabled by censorship. Canada's human rights tribunal hid Yaniv's name. Gendertrender connected the dots and Wordpress deleted her website. Twitter hastily adopted new "misgendering" and "deadnaming" TOS and suspended accounts posting about Yaniv. The cover Yaniv got was predictable and, in fact, predicted. Use of the ever flexible "hate" as the primary means of measuring misconduct ensures that predators will be protected by rules and laws that hide their pasts.

Thinking about this tweet from @SamBarber1910, an exchange with @TransCriticalMo a few days ago about affirmation-only therapy laws and some research I’ve been doing, I want to add some thoughts that are important to the overall discussion. Procreation is a fundamental right in the U.S. The state may interfere with this right only if there is a compelling state interest in doing so and the means chosen to effectuate that interest are the least restrictive available.
