I am proud to be indigenous... (A thread)... I am Metis. I was born Amanda Cardinal. Our family did not live on a reserve. They lived on the Wolf Lake Metis settlement. I wish I knew more. I truly wish I could go back in time and write down everything my Kokom... ...had told me. She told amazing stories. She was married young to my Mosom Charlie. He was a tall and handsome man.
