When large meat corporations destroy our planet, injure workers, and abuse animals, it's taxpayers who pay the bill.
The corporations keep the profits.
It's outrageous.
But there's hope: @CoryBooker introduced the Industrial Agriculture Accountability Act!
A🧵on its importance: Every year, thousands of workers are injured and mutilated in slaughterhouses.
And every year, meat corporations try to increase their slaughter speeds at the expense of workers and animals.
The IAA will change that.
