i saw a post asking how you eat 200g protein per day but i didn’t respond bc the guy asking has poor character. however the answer is you probably don’t need 1g/lb body weight, that’s more justifiable when you’re under 10% body fat. so 0.75g/lb for an athletic person is fine🧵 however i don’t discourage 1g/lb body weight because if your kidneys are healthy you can eat much more than that even, and protein is filling. besides that, many people may be counting proteins with poor amino acid profiles into their daily count. so better to just say 0.75-1g.

haven’t posted my body since spring because i got a stomach virus and then covid immediately upon moving to la. it nearly killed me. my body melted and i’m on two blood pressure medications for the rest of my life. but i’ve been working hard and i’m nearly back baby i’ll have to post about it at length some time but i can’t emphasize just how ill i got for a while. i reached a point of delirium where i had to get my friend to text me to take ibuprofen before the previous dose would wear off and i’d be mentally gone
