A word about @HeatherAntos (a thread)
Heather was my lead editor on the Han Solo series I did for Marvel years ago. I spoke to her multiple times a week via email and phone. Through 5 issues and over 100 pages she oversaw the writing, penciling, inks, colors, and letters.
She was an advocate for us creators from start to finish. She orchestrated all the headaches we had to go through with Marvel and Lucasfilm and dealt with my lateness and artistic quirks. She handled it with grace and humor.

After many tweets, PMs, and phone calls regarding this past weekend at SDCC, I want to clear the air and specify what happened in hopes it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
To begin with, I blocked the person I’m about to speak about across all my social media almost a year ago. I could tell then that I wanted nothing to do with him. This apparently wasn’t a clear enough message.

Lwts talk about the MCU for a moment because, my god, it’s astonishing. Not just for the quality and longevity of their movies but for the giant problem that they overcame. It all started in 1996 with Marvel declaring bankruptcy.
As a result they were forced to sell licensing rights for Pennies on the dollar to their biggest money-making characters including Spider-man and his universe(Sony) and the X-men and the Fantastic Four(Fox). This left Marvel with the characters no one wanted at the time-Avengers.

This is going to be my last tweets regarding Comicsgate because honestly, this is exhausting and I have far better things to do and a happy successful life to lead. I began this crusade because Ethan had once again done what he always does.(long thread)
He had taken a tweet of mine that had nothing to do with him and didn’t mention him and used it to stir up outrage with his flock. I had long ago blocked him to he obviously gets these by stalking via a ghost account.

Crowdfunding is good as long as you understand all that goes into it. Time and effort(dollars per manhour) are one things but the amount of money it takes for everything else can be a harsh reality for first timers who don't realize the money raised isn't all profit.(1/8)
First you have the actual printing cost of your comic which can be 2$-8$ a copy depending on its size and extras(variant covers, Foil, hologram, etc). You also have to pay out any additional contributors like inkers, colorists, and Letterers.(2/8)
