As someone who supported @greenparty_ie to stop fracked gas imports via LNG, I'm concerned they're changing course. It's critical that @EamonRyan consider the public health, safety, & climate harms of LNG just as the US gov’t is doing and that the #GreensGetOffGas 🧵 .@greenparty_ie should be leading the way on renewable energy solutions & if gas storage is needed look at other options, not LNG. @howarth_cornell has done incredible work on the climate impacts of LNG.

But the Far Right opposes this powerful message. In the US & EU, they've cut off tens of millions of women from essential abortion rights.

The Amazon emergency is a climate emergency, and we can't afford any delays. Thankfully, under your leadership this summit FINALLY established key protections for Indigenous Peoples. Thank you for listening to the voices of those in the frontlines of the climate emergency.
