If you think that ppl talking about their own experiences w oppression are exaggerating…that is bc you hve internalized those systems.
If you think that disabled ppl are exaggerating abt experiencing eugenics in this on-going pandemic, that is bc you hve internalized ableism.
If you understand the first part to be true when it comes to other systems of oppression, why would it be any different w ableism?
Or is it perhaps bc you are so disinvested in solidarity w disabled people that you just don’t want to think deeply about it?

Privilege is thinking something is not a big deal bc you are not the most impacted & you can therefore choose to ignore it.
Non-disabled ppl on the left are absolutely silent about the continuing erosion COVID protections.
Where is the allyship?
Many disabled & high risk people are literally risking their lives to even access healthcare bc no one is masking or testing.
People are losing their jobs and livelihoods either to avoid COVID or bc they’ve been further disabled by it.
