Find a place a good distance from interstates, universities, flagship factories, and other "job magnets."

Either do remote work or settle for a job that pays less. It's worth it.

Nobody's really talking about the fact that a large subset of humans have chosen to fail in a way that doesn't make sense to those of us of a more traditional orientation. Mass society will sooner or later need to figure out a way to humanely warehouse the walking dead, whose alienation, addiction, and inflammatory illnesses preclude "fixing" them.

It's been almost exactly half of a century, since the "liberals" (most of whom have passed of old age) supported an anti-war position against the federal government.

Nobody's bought the "liberals are flower children" frame for decades. Rachel Maddow is even older than the Vietnam War and has been spouting a militant interventionist war hawk line on liberal flagship television for even longer than the interminable Vietnam War dragged on.
