I Have a black dog. Winston Churchill coined the phrase as far as I know, and it has resonated with me since the first day I heard it. Some times this dog just follows me round, enforcing my insecurities, and stealing moments of joy by injecting self doubt. on occasion it just sits quietly in the room, almost unnoticed. Lately he seems very happy to be alongside me, growling fiercely at just about every moment
He's so bloody distracting that I feel like beating this unwelcome beast, but in truth I would only be beating myself.

Let's pretend...
Pretend that 3 weeks to flatten the curve was not just an easy way to get us all to accept the first lockdown
Pretend it's OK that your local village, town or city is being turned into a ghost town
Pretend its acceptable to lose your job or your business Pretend that your job will be there for you when furlough ends
Pretend that saving the NHS takes priority over all other things that make life worth living
Pretend that online and blended learning is good for your kids education and mental wellbeing

For years as a homeless addict I would be looking over my shoulder as I scored in some secret place , or got my hit in some darkened stairwell.
Fearful of arrest , and often fearful of an adverse reaction. Having got myself cleaned up and out of my self inflicted misery, you can imagine my horror that the state is now about to try and coerce me to inject myself with yet more toxic substances.
It seems It is ok to arrest me for what I chose to do to myself.

I think we need to stop beating about the bush and call a spade a spade.

since I was a boy I have known there is something very wrong in our world , not just a little bit off but something deeply not right. a darkness if you like. I have watched over the decades as the cameras that monitor us night and day have reproduced faster than the population of China.
New technologies arrive daily now and have become unbelievably effective at tracking our every move , our every action, within our homes and without.

A sad but factual truth.
Most people still believe that the Corona crisis is about health issues and the majority of them hope that the nightmare of the past few months will soon be over. In short: their beliefs are deceptive and they hope in vain.
The pandemic declared by WHO is not as threatening as it is often portrayed, nor is the health of all of us suddenly so important to politicians that they subordinate everything else to it. In fact, the pandemic is being used to build an agenda that would be difficult to achieve without it.

I’ve seen the light and it’s obvious I was wrong. Masks prevent viruses but also are very safe. I’ve decided to wear my mask at all times. I wear it in the store, in my car, on the beach and I’ll even wear it at home too.
1/7 I’ve started wearing condoms at all times as well because protection at all times is very important. If I’ve learned anything it’s that our government loves us, never ever lies to us and always has our best interests in mind
