As #UNGA78 opens, a thought for passengers of SE-BDY flight, that crashed 62 years ago in Rhodesia. Among them was Sec.-Gen. Dag Hammarskjöld. Here is his last message to British consul Denzil Dunnett, requested to help set up a meeting w/ runaway Katangese Pdt Moise Tshombe. 1/ Image This confirms British (and hence Rhodesian) authorities knew of Hammarskjöld's intent to travel to Ndola.
