Who has read the UN report on Poverty in the UK published in 2019? Here is one of the report's conclusions.
'The philosophy underpinning the British welfare system has changed radically since 2010. The initial rationales for reform were to reduce overall expenditures & to promote employment as the principal β€œcure” for poverty. But when large-scale poverty persisted despite a booming economy and very high levels of employment, the Government chose not to adjust course. Instead, it doubled down on a parallel agenda to reduce benefits by every means

Dear Mr Hancock
I am a 61 yr old retired NHS GP who has now has chosen to live in France. I am sending a copy of this email to my own MP.
During the summer leadership campaign you used the memory of D-Day soldiers & clearly stated that the prorogation of Parliament would go against "everything that those men who waded on to those beaches fought and died for" you went on to say "and I will not have it"
My late father was not involved directly with the D-Day landings. I will tell you why.
