Pakistanis have no idea what is coming their way. People are chilling on roads, malls, markets thinking Coronavirus is a joke. Yesterday, Pakistan reported 144 new cases, the fourth highest for any country outside of Europe. Total cases in next ten days could be 4000!! [Thread]
The numbers from other countries are alarming. In a space of ten days, cases in UK have gone from 373 to 3269. In Italy, they have surged from 9712 to 41,035. In Iran, from 9000 to 18,000. And these countries have a far better health system than Pakistan.
