I appreciate @CityAttyPeteH & his team's work to find more effective ways to increase public safety & reduce prosecution & incarceration. The "lock 'em up" model doesn't work well for any of us.

Seattle's City Attorney's race keeps getting wilder and wilder. First, Tucker Carlson and his local right-wing media types decided to stoke fear and division against Nicole Thomas-Kennedy. Now her opponent’s supporters put up an illegal, heavily slanted and distorted smear site. Washington State has some of the best campaign finance transparency laws in the country. I love the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC). Every dollar spent to influence an election must be reported through the PDC and available to Washington voters.
