I just went through the $1.2 trillion crap sandwich funding bill Speaker Mike Johnson wants to bring to the House floor. It's a 1000+ page Republican surrender treaty, but I'll highlight (or LOWLIGHT) some of the worst of it. Let's start with the window dressing. The DHS Secretary is prohibited from using funds that encourage migration to the US, but it's basically meaningless because it exempts humanitarian aid. So as long as the money is disguised as humanitarian aid, it's not prohibited.

Here's my 40,000 ft view of the Kari Lake litigation right now. The defense has gotten away with arguing that widespread and numerous violations are all "technical." So hundreds of thousands of "technical" violations do not amount to reason for overturning an election. ... All of this is by design.
The court should be considering the ENTIRETY of the violations, rather than a large number of individual ones. Countless technical violations should be viewed as evidence of negligence, which is NON-TECHNICAL.
Her case should be precedent-setting.
