The most upsetting thing about the LTN "wars" is my friends on boundary rds who have kids with newly diagnosed/worsening asthma, woken by traffic, those who've been affected adversely - are roundly insulted, blocked, told to "sacrifice" their kids for others, slandered etc- This scheme is meant to be a compassionate saving of the planet, helping of kids, freeing of people- if that were so why are the boundary residents NEVER spoken to in a way which shows regret or kindness? Never "We realise your experience is bad and we're trying to fix it".

Please read the leaflet you should have got & assist any people who might have difficulty reading all the options - when we had 16 Euro candidates it was v tricky Apply for a postal for the safest vote. IME many elderly people really like to vote, it's the main, in station, demographic. Check on your neighbours if they need help either coming to the station or getting a postal vote. The 20 candidates is confusing, for many.

Small thread about our sons.
My Boy gets bought a lot of "aren't girls great" books- which is right and lovely- Rosie Revere is one of his favourites. But I notice when I read these that I'm listing solely female accomplishments to a little boy, especially a little boy with - - a rather dominant older sister & mum. Now, whilst we know that we're rebalancing history- that WE grew up with NO books about female engineers/scientists etc - he doesn't know this, he is living his first life starting Now, so we have to remember BALANCE within their lives IMO-
