Despite the scorched earth politiking & resistance from the other side, I had hopes that @reda_getachew and his like minded colleagues were going to succeed in bringing change to how we do politics in Tigray. The verdict is now in and it is that he has failed decisively. Getachew’s presidency was doomed to fail from the get go. Insinuations of him being Abiy’s puppet run wild within the TPLF echo chamber & still being echoed by the likes of @dedebitmedia. TPLF’s entitled reactionaries pulled all kinds of obstacles to render his govt ineffective.
