Hi readers, I covered the Akron City Council Ward 8 meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 20 for #AkronDocumenters
@SignalAkron. Councilman Bruce Bolden started the meeting around 6:09pm. There were about 30 guests attending and a handful of Akron police officers there. This is Bolden’s second meeting since being elected to fill the vacant seat on council. Main topic of the meeting - Akron Police Department Use of Force policy discussion.

Hi readers, I covered Akron Civil Rights Commission Tuesday, Nov. 5 for #AkronDocumenters @SignalAkron Commission members present were Ellen Lander Nischt (Chair), Sheldon Wrice, Bruce Alexander and Casey Miller. The meeting started at 4:08 pm. John Shakun and Kirsten Smith from the City of Akron law department also joined the meeting.
