Yesterday, I was released from the hospital.

In far too many cases, those last two sentences would be followed by a plea for help paying bills or a link to a GoFundMe. Not in my case. /1 The reason? I live in a country where the health of its people is treated as a public good instead of a commodity.

This is a story about a "lawyer" named @RudyGiuliani, who said “Nobody got killed, nobody got robbed… This was not a big crime” regarding using campaign contributions to keep #Individual1's hookups quiet. /1 Once upon a time, @RudyGiuliani was the mayor of New York. He also had a weekly call-in radio show. A man named James Schillaci called in to complain to #Giuliani that traffic cops were manipulating a traffic signal sensor in the Bronx in order to entrap drivers into tickets. /2
