Welp found out the library had called campus security yesterday because of a patron refusing repeatedly to mask up in the bldg and he was also demanding access to a closed space (reading room). *sigh* This was an entirely predictable scenario that admin was in total denial about We're a residential campus. W/ gender-segregated dorms (an issue itself) so the library is one of the only spaces on campus where students can co-mingle with their romantic interests and friends. The canteen is limited to meal times, so WE are the go-to. This was 100% predictable

My husband was laid off this morning (which is how our day is going) but let me give a tip based on this experience. He was called about the lay off 15 minutes before his workday started. By the time he logged into his work email to grab any important emails this am (like stuff + about his salary, benefits, evaluation history) they had already cut off his access to his work email account and now he can't retrieve anything.
