🚨My sis & I r nurses. I am ICU trained. She has only worked clinics & is now in nursing IT. Her hospital is asking the IT RNs cover bedside. She has NEVER done bedside care. And her hospital is ONLY low acuity but they will soon not be able to transfer patients & need to take pt Patients from overflow from high acuity.

ICU RNs have specific training. Even Med/ Surg hospital nurses are not equipped to do ICU type patients.

This is important because “beds” available and “staff” available means any bed & body. So this metric for @GovRicketts to use
