Now that #MiSTerFPGA's PSX core has SNAC support, let's talk about how it will work. SNAC translates 5V controllers to 3.3V using level shifters. PSX controllers are natively 3.3V so the normal SNAC accessory won't work with them. Also, Blue1 added a dynamic csync/IRQ10 (1/4) Image to one of the 7 SNAC pins so both GunCon and Hyper Blaster guns will work automagically. PSX controllers report their controller ID to the core, which switches modes appropriately. The upcoming PSX SNAC adapters will allow for 2P (or more with multitap). I plan on making (2/4)
