This is the most important piece you will read all year regarding Covid
COVID Hospitalization Numbers Can Be Misleading - The Atlantic theatlantic.com/health/archive…
The TV told us that kids were "flooding the hospitals" due to Covid infections.
Well we come to find out that 40% of the pediatric hospitalizations for Covid were actually for other issues and they just happened to test positive for Covid

For a month Scott Gottlieb has suggested we are missing 1 in 10 cases. Evidence starting to emerge that he's right.
Florida covid data might be giving more credence to that theory.

We know from the UK data that "Delta" is not more deadly just more contagious. However in FL we have seen dramatic increases in hospitalization rates while not seeing significant rises in fatality rates.

This thread is why America is screwed.
How do ONLY 42% of Democrats believe the commander and chief of the US armed forces is to blame for the Afghanistan mess?
You have to start to ask yourself what information Democrats are being fed.
It's a proven fact that democrats severely OVERESTIMATE covid risks. Now, while the rest of the nation OVERWHELMINGLY Blames Biden they do not?

Lets put the current FL Covid "outbreak" into perspective
Last July FL recorded almost 12,000 hospitalizations but the cases were confined to SoFla (30% of the state's pop)
This year cases are all over the state and we are ~10,000 hospitalizations state wide. (h/t @AWokeZombie)
In July 2020 Miami hospitalizations peaked at ~2500. It was the epicenter of FL covid cases. In the fall wave Miami's hospitalizations dropped by half. Today, with 75% of the population vax'd they are the same as they were in the fall.

It's really fascinating watching life long democrats, who have consistently aided in admonishing the rest of America as unwashed heathens, wake up to the totalitarianism they ignorantly voted for and those "unwashed heathens" constantly complained about and voted against
To those of you finally waking up maybe you realize why half of the country believed in self accountability and always cringed when you willingly handed the government more control over your lives.

The national media will tell you #MiamiBeach issued a state of emergency and shut down because of the crowds and some will lie and say it's because of Covid. That's only half the story. Here are some videos of what is really going on.
This happened TWICE at the same Resturant
And here's the aftermath. Everyone walked out on their tabs totaling over $2,000 before tips . Remember this happened TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW. But there's more....

I totally understand the bearish sentiment in wheat futures. But bare in mind that the wheat/corn ratio is getting to 8 year lows and global prices are not that far apart where wheat will begin working into the global feed rations
21/22 wheat demand will be higher YoY
The USDA cannot ignore the 4mmt of old crop corn sold this week by leaving corn exports unchanged again. Which means corn will be the leader until the market realizes how bad of a 21/22 bean problem we will have.
Wheat cannot go to 0 in that environment

More data that brain dead morons like @Agtrader21 refuse to read.
Broward, Hillsborough all saw an increase in cases on Friday w/ a decrease in median age. Dade's age up ticked by 1 year.
Even after a week of increased cases and increased visits Dade County has seen a drop in hospital admissions.
Broward & Hillsborough admissions still at or below where they were last month. Duval has seen a small spike but still well below April when older ppl were getting sick

I'm basically checking out for the next few months after tomorrows WASDE but wanted to put this chart out there for the 100th time.
USDA has an 85mbu HRW feed number for 19/20. Historical relationships dictate this number is somewhere between 50-100% too low.
I don't think the USDA gives you this number tomorrow. In fact, I don't think they EVER give you the number to be honest for a bunch of reasons I won't go into.
But it's painfully obvious that the cash markets are telling you the feed program is ridiculously big this year

So after extensive discussions with people much smarter than me and reading analysis from those even smarter on the acreage numbers my conclusion is.....
The market is F'd
1/10
The HFT dominated commodity markets have no idea how to parse the USDA data from Friday. So they think we'll have 91.7m of acres corn planted.
Compounding this problem is that the July WASDE will be using this number in 2 weeks.
