The APC Governors forum met Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Abuja residence, their Chairman Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State prostrated before Tinubu the godfather.
Their request was not granted, Akinwunmi Ambode was replaced with Babajide Sanwo-olu.
The APC Governors forum were disappointed and embarrassed.

1. Since 2012 a petition was sent to EFCC claiming that Adams Oshiomole built mansions on a huge expanse of land worth more than N10billiion, in excess of the governor's legitimate means of income as governor.
EFCC did nothing about the petition.
2. Another petition was sent to EFCC in 2016, no action was taken by EFCC.
The petitioner therefore took the matter to court & the court has ordered the arrest and commencement of criminal proceedings against Adams Oshiomhole over allegations of financial fraud.
