I am here at a hearing for summary judgment motion hearing regarding the dischargeability of the Sandy Hook judgments against Alex Jones in bankruptcy. Points out that to even be considered for CUTPA you must at least have at least recklessness. Judge Bellis found he had the highest degree of blameworthiness and points that each factor is in Plaintiffs' favor.

I am on standby for the Lori Vallow sentencing. She was found guilty for the murder of her two children and for conspiracy to murder her current husband's wife at the time of her death. 1,481 days have now been marked. Day one was when Charles, her brother, was killed in Arizona. Talks about how the family had no explanation. Defense objects because the Arizona case is not why they are there. Overruled. But then Kay moves on to talk about JJ.

Here for a status conference in the Alex Jones and Free Speech Systems bankruptcy cases. Battaglia for Free Speech Systems says mediation is still going, but it requires coordination of two debtors and need to separate selves from day-to-day issues to respond to creditors. Says some finality would be best and settlement is best way to go forward.

We are back. Part 2 of Alex Jones sanctions hearing for Jones’s lawyers. It looks like Christopher Martin is on the stand now. He is the attorney who Reynal claims drafted the motion for new trial for which sanctions are now sought. Bankston is trying to nail down Martin on what he believes his services are worth. Martin answers with his standard rate is, but Bankston circles back to his OG question. Martin is $450/hr.

I literally cannot make any sense of this. Her ego being so fragile that once criticized she switches her entire worldview and abandons her principles just doesn’t make sense.

I am virtually present at the Free Speech Systems (InfoWars) bankruptcy hearing today. Today a "disclosure" was filed when the restructuring officer found that Jones was being paid directly for advertising which was not disclosed to the court before now. This entity was called "Mountain Way Marketing, LLC." The Sandy Hook families just filed a statement saying they were not informed of this "disclosure" and only found out when the disclosure was filed with the court!

Saw someone say “he without sin cast the first stone” in response to the Beard hire. Plenty of people actually aren’t abusers, so we can throw those stones. wild how abuse is the one thing that evangelicals think should be forgiven. The man who made that comment should be looked into IMO.

I discussed the filing that the Sandy Hook Plaintiffs who make up the Creditors Committee in Alex Jones's bankruptcy in a prior thread. I will discuss what happens in the hearing in this one. Katherine Porter for the Committee is speaking. She points out there is no opposing motion by Alex's lawyer filed, but she wants to emphasize the importance of this motion.

There is soon going to be another Alex Jones bankruptcy hearing. This hearing is on an emergency motion by the Sandy Hook families for Jones to submit complete and accurate financial information by March 24. In bankruptcy court, the debtor has 14 days after filing to submit these financial disclosures (referred to as Schedules and Statements). It has been 82 days since that statutory deadline.

Livestream for Alex Jones hearing in Texas is not working, but from what I can hear Mark Bankston is saying that Eric Taube, a lawyer for InfoWars needs to be disbarred. A reminder: Eric Taube is the lawyer who created the PQPR entity along with Alex Jones and Jones's father. PQPR is claiming InfoWars owes them millions and is a creditor in the Free Speech Systems bankruptcy.

Good morning. There is a sanctions hearing today in Travis County for counsel’s behavior in Heslin v. Jones (the already litigated Texas Sandy Hook case). Reynal (Alex’s defense attorney) said that no sanctions were requested at a bankruptcy hearing by the plaintiffs. Judge Gamble points out that’s because the record was incomplete and there were misrepresentations in discovery.
