Prime Minister officially announcing move from contain to delay to tackle coronavirus “This is the worst public health crisis for a generation.” He said “many, many more families are going to lose loved ones.” PM said they are considering the question of banning major public events such as sporting fixtures. But not closing schools for now - “should only close if they are specifically advised to do so.”
