Still feel empty and sad today. I’ve got a Texas-sized hole in my heart.

This New Englander-turned-Virginian who’s only been to TX once developed such a fondness for Texas and it’s people through Beto. You guys welcomed us right in and I will always remember that. I’m putting around the house today cleaning and trying to keep my mind off of things.

I’m avoiding the office, where there’s a big stack of petition forms I was going to get notarized next week to get Beto on the ballot here in VA.
