The Portuguese Central Bank, published estimates that suggest the impact of COVID19 on disposable income is stronger for families with higher earnings. This makes some sense: thanks to the extension ofthe furlough scheme, unemployment has not risen yet. And imporant parts of those on the two lower deciles are on benefits, which have not been afected yet.

I have revised the evidence of a survey conducted by the ILO/WB (source, bellow) for 22 countries (mostly OECD). This is very preliminary, and already out of date for some countries, but still: Some countries have put forward fairly comprehensive packages (IT). Others not (yet) (DK).
