In order to make TFT's item system more intuitive for players in the long run, we decided to make a big change to how items are structured. Now there are 4 types of items with consistent rules for how they work. Let's talk about them! (1/9) - Let's talk Mage Aurelion Sol

So I've always said I try to be honest and open with communication to all of you for the good and the bad. This is a "bad", but hopefully with a silver lining at the end. (2/9) Mage ASol has been a terror during PBE. Everyone knew it. Live team (myself included) had a LOT of things to juggle so we didn't quite give it the full attention we probably should have, trying to fix it via number changes.

Upon closer inspection today, it was VERY off.

As we get ready for Fates on PBE, I would like to take this time to set some expectations and make it clear how TFT uses PBE since it's pretty different than how League does. 1.) There will be bugs. Hopefully not lots, but there will be. We use PBE to find as many as possible and get them fixed before the game goes live. Help us out by sending any bugs you find in, so we can get them fixed!

Here's today's lesson...how much armor does an opponent need to have before Last Whisper is a better item than Infinity Edge?

Let's use Xayah as an example. With some nice math, we can figure out that Infinity Edge is approximately a 93% damage increase on a champ like Xayah. The item is REALLY good on her since all of her damage comes from Auto Attacks.

This is true no matter what the enemy armor is.
