1/ So my daughter starts boiling water this morning. I figure she’s making eggs. While she’s waiting she takes a cup of baking soda & vinegar to her room. I raise my eyebrows but whatever, she’s a teenage girl. They do weird things. 2/ She returns a little while later for her boiling water, except, she doesn’t put eggs, or even any type of food in it. Instead, she grabs it with a pot holder & heads back to her room. Now my curiosity is piqued but she’s 18. As long as the house doesn’t burn down I don’t care.

@ProperOpinion I’m the product of a 17 y/o boy raping my 15 y/o mom. I’m grateful every single day to have been adopted back in the early-70s but...I’ll give you a hand kicking the hell outta anyone who uses rape as a “joke” (once I heal up from surgery, of course). @ProperOpinion My birth mom was forced by her mother to apologize in front of her church for being pregnant (she was a real piece of work). Independent, fundamental Baptist churches in rural TX were a quite oppressive back then.
