I know a lot of you didn’t really follow development around the Imo state elections and so you are excused for not knowing better.

I will attempt to shed some light on why I think Emeka Iheadioha was kicked out. Emeka Iheadioha was declared winner of the last elections in Imo on very absurd grounds.

Imo has 27 LGAs and to be governor, the constitution says you MUST win in 18 LGAs to be declared winner.

Emeka won just 9 LGAs which represents 1/3 of the state.
