Using a visualiser (aka Show Call as @Doug_Lemov names it in TLAC) is really improving my teaching.

I’ve been using it to build accountability this week. I’m picking on any book at any moment and showing your work to the class. Powerful incentive to always do your best. As my colleague @dugganmrsc explains better than I can: “I have been taken aback by how young people are motivated by the potential for their work to be shared under the visualiser – far more than by reward points.”

I’ve improved by watching great teachers use a visualiser.
