Google slides make better writers/readers notebooks than googledocs for 3-5

Reasons: 1. Kids can choose different kinds of slides for different kinds of thinking and writing, including just the big block of text one

Thread: I've been thinking a lot about how I have changed as a teacher

1. In the beginning I did not give enough weight to how complex (emotionally, physically, academically) children are, and how dynamic their inner lives are, so... 2. I would look for "tricks" to manage the room, when really it was about relationships. You don't use "tricks" in any other complex relationships (spouse, friend, etc) so I don't know why I thought that was the right move
