A lot of people think that best traders are the people who are making huge returns or lot of money but for me it has always been just the opposite. Running some short calls. I don't trade mean reversion kind of situations with long options so decided to go with short. Got TSL hit. Now this is the problem with buying options in mean reversion you don't know whether it will be consolidation or breakdown and reversion moves are slow and spikes are much more sharp.
