Most of us know Goa for its mesmerizing beaches or cathedrals. But very few of us know about it's rich Hindu heritage including temples and forts. This thread is a small effort to create awareness about that. I was lucky to visit few of them and wish to explore more in future. 1. First one is Cabo de Rama fort. It is believed that Lord Ram visited this place with Mata Sita and Lakshmana during his 14 years of Exile. Local Soola rulers built a fort at this place which was later occupied by Portuguese and they built a Cathedral inside it.
