An individual who is not a qualified Islamic scholar has made the claim that ‘unlimited kindness to women destroyed every traditional religion and culture…& their next target is Islam!!!!’ What is the proof for this from the authentic Islamic sources? A very dangerous statement
Many extreme Muslim supporters of extreme masculinity borderline misogyny have been making similar statements on limits to kindness and not being a pushover. Some have asked me for clarification on gender roles. We need to go back to the authentic interpretation of the Sunnah

During the last few years and especially after Andrew Tate’s conversion,we have seen an increased level of polarization & extremism in gender issues in Islam. One extreme is to subject islam tofeminist ideology, and the other is to push for extreme masculinity bordering misogyny
It is best to adopt the middle path in all matters between two extremes, including gender issues in Islam

واحذر مخالطة متفقهة الزمان
Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali said, “Keep a safe distance from the pseudo-jurists, from the fake scholar

Some updates regarding the halal situation in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom has started importing meat from America again and many restaurants are using meat from multiple countries.
1 uses meat from 5 countries; chicken from Malaysia, beef from Australia, Canada, Jordan, and Brazil
Another uses meat from the UAE, Saudi, Australia, Canada, America, and New Zealand. The challenge for the customer concerned about halal is verifying if the meat from multiple countries is reliable. There is also questionable beef from America certified by HTO

I have greatly benefited from reading the English translation of the biography of Shaikh Mahmud Effendi of Turkey who recently passed away - may Allah have mercy on him- and I highly recommend reading this book to all. I will be sharing a few quotes from this book next
Shaikh Mahmud Effendi was one of the revivalists of Islam in Turkey and single-handed played a major role in keeping Islam and knowledge alive by producing thousands of men and women Islamic scholars despite great persecution and hardship. His story is very inspiring for all

Those in authority are responsible and will be held accountable for the misinformation, confusion, and extremism that has spread from DH’s online hate. Let all who claimed he was studying under Hanafis and under their supervision reconsider their stance. #damagecontrol
It is the sacred duty of the Islamic scholars and those in a position of authority to verify the Islamic credentials, ideology, and piety of every speaker that they give a platform to, no matter how insignificant. “Examine who you take your religion from.”

The dream of Halal lab meat/burger might be once step closer to reality!
The Eat Just company in Asia began selling lab-grown chicken nuggets in Singapore, is now targeting Muslim customers, & in August it announced plans to build a facility in Qatar.
bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
“The current procedure of extracting muscle stem cells from a live animal within the lab-grown meat industry does not conform to the Sharia laws that would render meat pure and permissible. Rather, such lab-grown meat is both impure and impermissible...” fiqhacademy.com/res07/

الحكم على الشيء فرع عن تصوره
The ruling on something being lawful or unlawful in Islamic law is based on first properly conceptualizing that issue and understanding it thoroughly. This requires scholars & Muftis to thoroughly research any topic before issuing a formal fatwa

Every Muslim and every student of Chemistry in high school should know the name of Abu Bakr Al-Razi(Rhazes) and his groundbreaking work, The Book of Secrets. Al-Razi is arguably the founder of the science of Chemistry and this book is the first practical laboratory manual in it
Al-Razi wrote this book over 1100 years ago, and the Latin translation of this book influenced Europe for 600 years. Gail Marlow Taylor translated this book for the first time into English for her Master’s thesis. The Book of Secrets is truly a great book of Islamic civilization

At the outset, I would like to state that I have a strong connection with South Africa, two of my my children were born there, and I believe that the vast majority of Ulama and Islamic scholars in South Africa are outstanding individuals and good people.
At the same time, our respected teacher, Mufti Amjad who himself lives in South Africa has brought to our attention an important issue which is unique to South Africa and arguably not found anywhere else in the world. His audio clip in this regard in Urdu has been forwarded
