just a reminder: if you can avoid it, pls do not buy masks on amazon (unless they are sold and shipped by amazon). the storefront name is irrelevant bc amazon just lets sellers autoselect the brand. amazon doesnt vet very deeply if at all in some cases. + some masks being sold are fakes, some are old to the point that components may not be sufficient for full protection (i.e. worn down bands), and some may have irregularities. it's a crapshoot, & not a chance worth taking when there are cheap options from reputable sources+

influencers during this ongoing pandemic are killing me.
just saw one say she traveled abroad, got really sick with a sore throat, fatigue, a fever, and a loss of taste and smell. never once said the word "covid," and even referred to the pandemic in the past tense. i've seen SO MANY examples just like this one, with influencers who have some "mystery illness" that sound just textbook covid stuff. it's mindboggling how far this mass denial goes.
