When I filed for a divorce back in the 1990s all sorts of issues came up. First up was the issue of my marriage certificate. It was not a Form E Certificate. It wasn't a statutory marriage. It dawned on me thats why we didn't actually sign the marriage registry in church
At the time I wondered about that but shrugged it off. For all intents & purposes I believed myself married under the Marriage Act. One lawyer filed a petition anyway. Another refused point blank & insisted my marriage was a customary marriage & that I seek a customary divorce

It was so sad to see just how cynical so many Nigerians are. Both men & women insisted its not possible for a man to be sexually exclusive with one woman & women shouldn't even expect monogamy despite the vows of monogamy they took in church. He will cheat. Don't bother about it

Well, the cow belong to Buhari& his elitist kinsmen. There is no more pasture in the Sahel. We do this peacefully or we shed the blood of the suffering masses.
What I would like to know is how they know which of these nomadic herdsmen is actually Nigerian🤔
It would be irresponsible & provocative for the federal government to presume to use its might in this manner. To IMPOSE this solution would not lead to an end to the conflict but an escalation. And it is NOT sustainable.
