Let's talk curb extensions!

Curb extensions visually and physically narrow a road, creating safer, shorter crossings for pedestrians. They align pedestrians with the parking lane, instead of placing them behind parked cars. And they add space for street furniture and plants. Image When installed on a residential or low-speed street, a curb extension can slow turning drivers and serve as a gateway to mark the transition to a slower-speed street and slow turning drivers. RELEASE: 84 Million Trips Taken on Shared Bikes and Scooters Across the U.S. in 2018

More than twice as many trips were taken on shared micromobility in the U.S. as compared to the year before.
