You're actually forced to post during work because your company's boomerware is so slow that it leaves you hours of cumulative idle time per day. Furthermore, the idle time is never continuous, meaning you can't devote your full attention to something more worthwhile like reading or watching a film or not working. A few minutes off here and there interspersed throughout the day leaves you with few options.

There wouldn't be mass immigration under industrial capitalism/socialism because productive forces would lower the cost of living and make domestic labor competitive, but people like you aren't smart enough to figure this out and will continue to step on rakes for eternity. We have financial capitalism in the West, meaning new hosts are constantly needed to grow the fictitious economy because it's entirely reliant on parasitism. The system demands One Billion Americans making 23% APR credit card payments.

You never see Southern Europeans do this sort of cringe shit. It's always Northern Europeans, especially the Nordics. Same with those ΝАFО freaks. It's like the more Americanized you are, the more brain-damaged you become. The Mediterranean countries have their problems, but mass psychosis isn't one of them. They're decidedly normal compared to the rest of "the West".

Actually, you take a test in elementary school, score in the 99.9% percentile, and end up on here because there's nothing else to do. They literally make you "color" in public schools in the United States until like 8th grade or so.

The Russians have a lot of rare, untapped cultural clout that could be used to manifest soft power, much like Japan has been doing since the 1980's. There aren't too many countries in the world that are inherently "cool" to foreigners in this way. Besides having the only body of literature in the world rivaling English-language literature, the potential for an infinite number of crime and military dramas exist, both of which are popular in the United States.

Weebs will hate to hear it, but Japan regularly has television programs watched by millions that mock people who aren't full-on normies. I've never seen them but I've heard their reality shows and game shows can get quite cruel as well.

Normie sadism is thriving no matter where you go in this world.

One of these days, we'll come to realize that we ruined the greatest source of information ever invented because we allowed subcontinentals publish SEOslop to earn a few rupees off of Amazon affiliate links. AI is not going to fix this. All it knows is regurgitate Reddit and lie.

Americans "lose" weight when vacationing in Europe because America is Hell on Earth and its gravitational fields actively increase the weight of its inhabitants by dragging them down physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The Latin term for this is "Incurvatus in Se". I'm sick of seeing this same thread every other day. This is the definitive answer and you don't need an affiliate link to protein powder at the end to understand why.

It's crazy how every single game from big-budget Snoy slop to indie pixelshit about depression gets a 10/10 now.

The only two universal 10/10 scores I remember seeing as a kid were Ocarina of Time and Half-Life 2. The paradigm shift, like every other contemporary paradigm shift, started in 2007 with the controversy over the GameSpot's Kane & Lynch: Dead Men review and to a lesser extent, their (generous) 8.9 score of Twilight Princess.

You will never be a real founder. You have no business acumen, you have no technical knowledge, you have no charisma. You are a spoiled fail-son twisted by a few million dollars of seed funding into a crude mockery of Silicon Valley’s perfection. I swear the "elite" of every other country in the Eurasian landmass dumps their h0m0sexual second sons off in the Bay Area with some funding and their own "startup" just to get them out of the family business.

The problem with software nowadays has nothing to do with technology and everything to do with the high finance parasites who feed off the industry.

It's either VC throwing money at the stupidest people and ideas imaginable or PE draining the blood of a reasonable company. You need to let the nerds cook (code).

Normie entryism into their spaces has been a bane to all that's good in the world.

This was really it, wasn't it? This was as far as we made it.

A vision of the world at the moment to be became being. This was our stillborn millennium future.

The digitization of information should have crashed the price of both producing and owning media of all forms. What happened instead is companies started charging for access vs. ownership.

If something can be infinitely replicated at a negligible cost, it's proper price is free. Image The same logic can be applied to industrialization as a whole. If you have more efficient means of producing goods--and everything else remains constant--the cost of producing those goods should decrease. These savings should be passed on to consumers but we know how that goes.

"Been this way since th' dawn o' Tyme." Material prosperity isn't the default condition of man or even a common one in history.

It's hard-won and short-lived.

Crazy how the last two hundred chapters of Naruto take five hundred times longer to read than the first five hundred chapters despite being the same length. I finally finished the series for the first time and I started in June. I read most of it in June. It took me that long to get through the final arcs.

The final arcs were so bad they ruined the series for me. Despite that, I think everything before Shippuden is excellent.

The eremitic traditions found in nearly every religion around the world make a lot more sense when you realize how easy to love your neighbors when you don't have any neighbors. Image I think that's the great challenge of Christianity, especially when it comes to loving your enemies.

The Old Covenant (i.e., Ten Commandments) can be obeyed with some effort. But the New Covenant (i.e., Sermon on the Mount)? It's an impossible task without grace.

I doubt I will be employed by the beginning of this January given the present economic situation but the potential this affords me to deepen my knowledge of the Japanese language to play obscure 30+ year old games in order to further alienate myself from society is considerable. When they say "we're going to have to have difficult conversations next month if [impossible goal] isn't met", you're already dead.

They've already hit all of your pressure points in a single barrage and you're about to explode into giblets and all you can say is「何」

You could call the ideology of web3/NFTs, etc. "cyber-Satanism" but that would make it sound cool and it's not.

It's much more banal in its evil--like regular Satanism not the heavy metal album cover version. Like most "organic" Internet culture, there's a bunch of Gen X creeps behind the scenes who are also likely involved with the high finance and intelligence communities.

Some women have a restorative property to them where even the smallest, most insignificant interaction with them will fully heal you on every level as if they were human Pokémon Centers. I've noticed this with the French particularly, even ones twice my age. Their brand of femininity is healing.

The upper-middle class kids without any talent always get job like "channel sales manager" for the most obscure bullshit like ketchup packets at privately held companies you've never heard of that have been around for over one hundred years. They'll tap you on the shoulder while you're at a urinal--fly down, dick out--and be like, "You see that paper towel dispenser on the wall? My company supplies the actual container used to hold the actual paper towels at over 10,000 restroom facilities globally."

"I Have No Hoes And This Is My Favorite Album" Image Everyone remembers reading their mom's copy of Rolling Stone magazine when they named this pile the Best Album of the Decade, something which also caused thousands of insufferable teenagers to consider it the not only the Best Album of the Decade but Their Favorite Album.
