A (smallish) thread 🧵 Any striking union will have a strike fund that supporters can donate to. This generally will help the union to pay strike benefit to members which will ease the financial burden due to loss of earnings

My experience this week, please read & 🔄

Christmas day I developed agonising pain in my side. It was intermittant I suspected a kidney stone. I was sent to out of hours doctor on call service he referred me to the local acute hospital and I was told I had a bed When I arrived I was told they didnt realise I also had Covid. I was informed since I had Covid they no longer had a bed for me, (no spaces in the red pathway) I was given medication & a single dose of pain relief and sent home with the promise of a CT the next day
