A thread about fraud and how a major bank just let it happen:
Got a letter from @synchrony bank about my wife's @Lowes card. Says the address was changed on the account. Oh really? That was not the case at all!
So I called them... /1
While on hold I logged into the website and to my surprise there was a $3,600 purchase on the card from a few days ago at the Lowe's in Buford, Georgia!
That's over 700 miles from where we live, a long way to go for whatever one can get for $3,600 at a big box hardware store! /2

Here's a story about the cluelessness that is @VividSeats. This is so amazing to me, I had to Tweet about it.
Unfortunately COVID caused the game to be postponed.
We waited to see when it would be rescheduled.

I have been a @priceline customer for at least fifteen years, maybe more. I booked a night at @daysinn by @WyndhamHotels in Columbus, Ohio for Sunday night. It was for $61.97 including all fees and taxes. /1
We drove eight hours from Philly, all the time trying to call the hotel for a late check-in. No answer. When we arrived, we saw why that was the case - the hotel was closed since Friday. Nobody from @priceline bothered to tell us. /2
