The upcoming running of #TheDorriesTrophy will be the last in its current form for a while (huzzah!). I thought I'd write a brief intro of the 16 top seeds, in no particular order,although there's plenty of quality elsewhere in the field of 64. Oh yes.

Greg Hands is a bright guy who has a smattering of German and can string a sentence together. Unfortunately, he hides this talent under a bushel of puerile stupidity: Keir Starmer flip-flops, endless "no money left" tweets etc. Career highlight: 1,063 seats lost in one day. 2/17

This account was set up to take the piss out of the large number of very low calibre @Conservatives MPs who Tweet either stupid, untrue or simply laughable stuff.
Foremost among these was of course @NadineDorries 1.
Dorries is absolutely - and there is no other word for it - besotted with @BorisJohnson and although she is no longer in Cabinet she maintains a very prominent presence on Twitter urging the party to bring Johnson back as leader.
