In Tuesday’s #SOTU, Pres Biden highlighted the importance of family caregivers, saying:

“Let’s get seniors who want to stay in their homes the care they need to do so. And give a little more breathing room to millions of family caregivers looking after their loved ones.” 48 million Americans help take care of spouses, parents and other adult loved ones.

On average, they spend 24 hours/week on care activities – the equivalent of an unpaid part-time job - while also shelling out an avg of $7,000/year on care expenses.
